"Firstly, many thanks to the RTI committee and the organising team for the opportunity to present my poster at your recent forum. Our team hopes that this scoping review on Video-Observed Therapy (VOT) for TB will be something we can adapt into a manuscript and publish in a peer-review journal in the near future.

My name is An Du Thinh and I am based in Liverpool, United Kingdom, where I completed my Internal Medical Training (IMT) following medical school and foundation years in Sheffield. I have recently in 2023 completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM), where I also did the DTM&H back in 2018. This scoping review on VOT for TB was part of my MPH dissertation project. My long-term interests are in international public health and infectious diseases, and I hope to work for an NGO/MSF and eventually the WHO in the future."

“I am grateful for the opportunity to present a poster at the 6th Forum on Respiratory Tract Infections. This poster was based on a systematic review and meta-analysis our team recently carried out to identify the risk factors for poor outcomes in young children hospitalised with lower respiratory infections associated with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), SARS-CoV-2, and influenza.

I am currently a PhD student in Medical Informatics at the University of Edinburgh with a keen interest in epidemiology of respiratory infections and health data science. My PhD project aims to characterise RSV infection in young children and to explore the association between RSV infection in early childhood and the development of asthma or recurrent wheezing in later childhood using Scottish electronic health records.”
