We’re very proud of this year’s Scientific Programme.

  • Mucociliary clearance - the first airways defense against inhaled pathogens and particulates
  • Dysfunctional Mucociliary clearance in bronchiectasis
  • Therapeutic options - mRNA therapies, airway clearance techniques, mucolytics and anti-inflammatory treatments
  • The need to develop endpoints for trials of Mucociliary clearance therapies

Respiratory infections in chronic airway disease

  • A review of transcriptomic, metagenomic and culture data on chronic bacterial infections in asthma
  • Presentation of single cell sequencing data in neutrophilic asthma
  • Mechanistic in vitro and vivo work on mechanisms of macrolides in airways diseases
